Drumsicce

Thanks to the dedication of L O S C I and Think’d, my track Drumsicce is part of an incredible compilation on Antistandard Recs.

I started working on this track in March 2020, on my sofa, during the first Italian Lockdown. Part of the production process was even streamed live on Facebook. I must admit that this is NOT one of my best sounding track but it has a HUGE vibe and it has some kind of a catchy hook. Again, I am incredibly happy about sharing what I lived during a such weird and scary historical period and I am honored of being part of such an amazing release. Please, take some time and listen to the whole release, I must admit that a 50 tracks compilation could be a little overwhelming at first sight, but is definitely worthy!

My / Cocai Wars

Originally relesased in 2021 and 2020, as two different releases, these tracks are now reissued toghether as a four track Ep here on Bandcamp.

Just because it makes sense to have them all in the same place.

Cocai Wars and Peace On Earth were composed while binge watching post apocalyptic tv shows, like The Walking Dead and The 100, and are definitely inspired by those dark and mysterious atmospheres.

My is a cinematic voyage with heavy distored bass and soothing melodic leads while Blagoveshchensk is an acid slow burner. Hypnotic and psychedelic.

James Evan Wilson - Missing Earth vol 1

This piece was recorded live, during a rehearsal for an upcoming performance.

Missing Earth Vol 1 is deeply inspired by Solarpunk ideology and culture.

The whole performance is about finding a way to reconnect with nature, even through technological processes.

This track is released under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0), this means you are free to copy and redistribute the piece in any medium or format. Feel free to remix, transform, and make something with it also.

Blackdance - Twelve

During my long lasting music career I changed various monikers and various styles. Black Dance was a project born in Venice during my late university years (2010/2011 circa) and after the split up of my previous band called Arm Your Sampler.

Black Dance - Twelve is a 3 tracks single marked by an unorthodox approach to production and the will to experiment with diverse genres spanning from acid house to lofi music.

Well/done it’s the intro track that introduce the dualism of what to expect through the whole release: a fine balance between a more experimental and harsh kind of electronic music and something more comforting and easy on the ears.

The title track, Twelve, is a funky acid journey and it’s more dance oriented than the others. It features squelcy analog basslines, cosmic strings and some rusty vocal samples, just enough to make you want to move.

Finally, Dishpig is the closing track of the trio, and it’s another downtempo joint. Mood is eerie but, again, funky and uplifting at the same time. The track is wrapped into luscious pad and it’s driven by heavily syncopated synthetic percussion and some beautiful funky guitar riffs.
